At Commrisk, we’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to take ownership of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, helping them navigate risk with confidence while growing long-term partnerships built on trust and service excellence. 

About the role

This is more than just managing renewals. You’ll become a trusted advisor to your clients, understanding their businesses, identifying risks and coverage gaps, and providing tailored insurance solutions that genuinely add value.
You’ll work closely with insurers, underwriters, claims teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver responsive, professional service while also driving retention, portfolio growth, and new business opportunities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
• Building strong, long-term client relationships
• Conducting portfolio and renewal reviews to identify opportunities and risks
• Providing sound insurance advice and tailored solutions
• Supporting clients through policy changes, queries, and claims processes
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities
• Working collaboratively with insurers and internal teams to deliver excellent service

About you

You’re commercially minded, client-focused, and confident building relationships at every level. You enjoy solving problems, delivering advice clients can trust, and balancing strong service with business growth.

Minimum requirements

• Relevant short-term insurance qualification
• RE5 completed
• Completed relevant insurer product specific training
• Class of business training for commercial lines and personal lines completed
• CPD requirements up to date for the current cycle
• Minimum five years’ experience in the short-term insurance industry
• At least three years in an account executive or similar client-facing broking role
• Experience servicing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients
