Qualifications and skills
- Minimum grade 12
- PSIRA registration and call centre certificate will be advantageous
- MS Office
- 3-5 years control room, CCTV, surveillance, or security monitoring experience
- Investigative skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Reporting skills
- Actively monitor and detect threats to sites within two (2) minutes of their occurrence via the various detection methods
- Accurate logging and verification of all detected incidents
- Dispatching of security personnel as well as coordination with relevant response units during active incidents.
- Acknowledgement of the alarms.
- Monitor, record, and report all roadside and TMC equipment malfunctions.
- Accurate and timeous completion of all administrative functions related to KPIs
