 As a Technical Consultant, you are a trusted advisor and technical authority within the team. You take ownership of complex technical challenges, lead strategic projects, and work closely with clients to ensure technology supports their business goals. You mentor others, solve problems with confidence, and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities
Advanced technical support 

• Resolve high-level escalations from Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers.
• Perform deep-dive diagnostics and root cause analysis for recurring or critical issues.
• Provide expert-level support across infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security platforms.

Client consulting and strategy 

• Conduct technology reviews and roadmap planning sessions.
• Recommend solutions that align with client goals, budgets, and compliance requirements.

Project leadership 

• Lead the implementation of complex IT projects (e.g., migrations, upgrades, cloud deployments).
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Document and hand over solutions to support teams with clarity and precision.

System Design and architecture 

• Design scalable, secure, and efficient IT environments for clients.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
• Maintain documentation and diagrams for client environments.

Mentorship and knowledge sharing 

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases and SOPs.
• Lead internal training sessions and technical workshops.

 Monitoring, risk and compliance 

• Oversee infrastructure health, backup integrity, and security posture for key clients.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and cli
• nt-specific requirements.

Must-have

• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, virtualisation, and security.
• Strong experience with firewalls, switches, backup systems, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Proven experience leading IT projects from design to delivery.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Passion for technology and a proactive, client-first mindset.

Beneficial to Have

• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Expert, M365 Enterprise Admin, Cisco, Fortinet, ITIL, etc.
• Experience in a similar Consulting role.
• Background in MSP or IT Consulting environments.
