The Junior Journalist and Content Coordinator role blends hands-on newsroom reporting with the opportunity to develop branded content and deliver special projects. The ideal candidate will research and write strong editorial stories while also assisting in developing advertorials, sponsored features, and multi-platform campaigns.
Key responsibilities:
- Report and write news, profiles, and feature stories under editorial guidance.
- Assist in creating compelling advertorial copy that aligns with client objectives.
- Support the planning and rollout of commercial projects, from concept to delivery.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
- Deliver client relations to the highest standards while multitasking effectively.
- Ensure all content, editorial and commercial, reflects the publication’s voice and standards.
Ideal candidate:
- Degree in journalism or media, with 1 to 2 years of newsroom experience.
- Strong writing and research skills, with an eye for detail.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
- Interest in learning how editorial and commercial content intersect.
- Valid driver’s license
