    Job description

    1. Purpose of the Role

             The Tender Administrator is responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process, from identifying new opportunities to preparing           And submitting high-quality, compliant bids. You will coordinate with various internal departments to ensure all documentation meets           Client requirements and deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Tender Sourcing and Monitoring: Regularly check government and private sector portals (e.g., e-Tenders) for new bid opportunities and RFQs.
    • Bid Preparation: Compile and format complete tender documentation, including technical, commercial, and administrative sections (e.g., BEE certificates, tax clearances, company profiles).
    • Compliance Management: Review tender requirements to ensure 100% compliance with client specifications and company standards.
    • Tracking and Reporting: Maintain an up-to-date tender register to track deadlines, submission statuses, and outcomes (won/lost analysis).
    • Internal Coordination: Liaise with estimating, operations, and finance teams to gather necessary data for competitive pricing and technical submissions.
    • Submission: Ensure timely physical or electronic submission of tenders, following specific delivery instructions.
        3. Minimum Requirements
    • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is essential. A Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce is highly preferred.
    • Experience: Typically 1–3 years (Junior) or 3–5 years (Senior) of experience in tender administration or procurement support.
    • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for cost analysis and Word for formatting).
    • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with procurement regulations and industry-specific tender legislation (e.g., PFMA or Treasury Regulations for public sector tenders).
