Advertising Sales Executive

Now Media is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Advertising Sales Executive to join the team working on Farm.co.za.

Farm.co.za is a supplier directory and information platform serving South Africa’s farming and agricultural sectors. The platform connects professional farmers with suppliers across the agricultural value chain — from farm inputs and machinery through to processing, logistics and market access.

This role focuses on developing new advertising relationships and building a portfolio of clients across the agricultural supply and processing sectors.

Farm.co.za is a growing platform and the successful candidate will play an important role in building advertiser relationships as the product continues to develop and gain industry recognition.

 Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop advertising opportunities across the agricultural value chain.
• Prospect and meet with suppliers serving the farming, processing and agricultural services sectors.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective advertisers.
• Develop a portfolio of clients aligned with the Farm.co.za platform.
• Achieve agreed monthly revenue targets.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline and client records.

Requirements

• Previous sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable developing new business.
• Organised and disciplined in managing a sales pipeline.
• Interest in agriculture, food production or agri-processing advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
