Are you a creative and detail-driven audio professional with a passion for storytelling?
Our dynamic TV production company is seeking a Final Mix Engineer and Sound Designer to join our multi-platform post-production team. This role is perfect for someone with 3+ years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on a variety of projects, from Reality TV to multi-genre productions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sound design:
- Select, record, and design sound elements (SFX, music, dialogue, ambient sounds).
- Create engaging, story-driven soundscapes aligned with creative direction.
- Maintain technical specifications and quality standards.
Sound integration and final mix:
- Edit and process audio elements (clean-up, EQ, level balancing, FX).
- Synchronize sound with visuals, ensuring narrative and emotional impact.
- Deliver polished mixes that meet technical and artistic broadcast standards.
- Collaborate with editors and creatives to refine and localize sound for target audiences.
Workflow and quality control:
- Handle multiple projects weekly, managing strict deadlines.
- Test and iterate mixes, implementing feedback quickly.
- Stay updated with the latest audio technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
3+ years’ experience in audio post-production (TV/Film/Reality TV preferred).
Diploma/degree in film, media, or sound engineering (or equivalent).
Excellent knowledge of audio editing, mixing techniques, and software.
Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and technical expertise.
Effective communicator with strong time-management and organizational skills.
Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
