MIS Front-End / SQL Technician

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end applications based on business and operational requirements
- Develop and optimise SQL Server objects, including stored procedures, functions, and views
- Proficient with front and back-end development, based on requirements from customers and industry best practise.
- Cross platform application and websites development
- Beneficial experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Beneficial experience with Aveva system platform (Wonderware Scada) would be beneficial
- Beneficial experience with VBScipt and MAUI would be beneficial critical competencies for an MIS Technician
- Basic fundamentals of software engineering
- Basic understanding of plant automation, PLC and Scada systems
- Matric (grade 12)
- National diploma in information technology (software development/engineering or related field)
- 3–5 years’ experience in software development or a related technical environment
- Strong proficiency in:
- VB.Net, ASP.Net, VBScript, HTML, MVC, and JavaScript
- Microsoft SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, SSRS)
- Solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development principles
- A+ certification or equivalent foundational knowledge
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
