    Job description

    AI Enablement and Culture Lead
    George, Western Cape | on-site

AI is powerful. But technology alone doesn’t change organisations, people do.

At Badger SA, we believe AI should amplify human potential, not replace it. That’s why we’re looking for an AI Enablement and Culture Lead, someone who can translate complex technology into stories, learning journeys, and cultural momentum that helps our teams confidently adopt AI in their daily work.

You will sit at the intersection of people, learning, communication, and technology, ensuring our organisation becomes AI-literate, confident, and future-ready.

    Core function

The AI enablement and culture lead is responsible for designing and delivering the internal communication, learning, and cultural strategies that support ethical, inclusive, and confident AI adoption across the organisation.

This role drives AI awareness, capability development, and engagement initiatives, embedding AI into everyday work practices in human-centred and strategically aligned ways.

    Role purpose

To cultivate an engaged, AI-literate organisational culture through structured learning journeys, compelling storytelling, and people-centred change initiatives.

The role ensures that AI adoption is supported through clear communication, capability building, and measurable engagement strategies aligned to organisational goals.

    What you’ll be responsible for

    AI culture and communications

You will shape the internal narrative around AI across the organisation.
    • Design and execute internal AI awareness campaigns, newsletters, and multimedia content.
    • Define and evolve the organisation’s AI narrative framework aligned to strategy and company values.
    • Partner with communications, HR, and leadership to ensure clear and consistent AI messaging.
    • Develop initiatives that encourage responsible, confident AI use across teams.

    Training and learning enablement

AI adoption only works when people understand how to use it confidently.
    • Design and curate role-based AI learning journeys and leadership resource hubs.
    • Partner with learning and development to embed AI foundations into induction programmes.
    • Facilitate AI workshops, capability-building sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums.
    • Develop scalable training materials, playbooks, and self-service learning resources.
    • Track learning effectiveness through engagement metrics and continuously improve programmes.
    Research and insight development

AI culture must be built on real insight, not assumptions.
    • Conduct research into AI readiness, employee sentiment, and adoption barriers.
    • Benchmark industry best practices in AI literacy, adoption, and inclusion.
    • Translate insights into practical recommendations for leadership.
    • Prepare internal presentations and reports that inform AI roadmap decisions.
    Change and engagement strategy

AI adoption requires thoughtful change management.
    • Design change interventions that support AI tool adoption across teams.
    • Identify adoption gaps and build targeted engagement strategies.
    • Act as a cultural bridge between technical AI teams and business units.
    • Align AI initiatives with people strategy and operational priorities.
    AI governance alignment

    Responsible AI adoption is non-negotiable.
    • Work with the data governance analyst to ensure all AI communication and learning content aligns with governance policies and ethical guidelines.
    • Promote responsible AI awareness across all enablement initiatives.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to analyse engagement data and translate insights into practical action.
    • Comfortable using digital learning tools, dashboards, and collaboration platforms.
