This role is suited to a specialist with deep technical expertise in Avaya enterprise telephony environments, responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimising a large-scale voice infrastructure in a high-availability environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and integration of the organisation’s telephony systems while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 10 years’ experience administering and supporting Avaya enterprise voice platforms
Proven experience with:
- Avaya Aura Communication Manager
- Avaya Session Manager
- Avaya System Manager
- Avaya Messaging
- Avaya Media Gateways (G450 / G430)
- SIP technologies
- Experience with Oracle Session Border Controllers
- Experience with Verint Call Recording
- VMware and SQL experience advantageous
Skills & Technical Competencies:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Solid understanding of VoIP technologies and protocols (SIP, H.323)
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals including LAN/WAN, QoS, and VLANs
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced enterprise environment
