We’re on the hunt for a PR Account Manager to join our dynamic team as we start an exciting new chapter of growth. Qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in public relations and or communication/journalism.
- At least two years as PR account manager within an agency environment with contactable references.
- Experience managing clients independently and delivering results.
- Media Relations: Great contacts and strong relationships with journalists, editors and influencers across various industries.
- Digitally savvy (digital marketing and social media).
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the PR world.
- Great communicator: Active listener, confident speaker.
- Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute PR strategies that align with client goals.
- Project management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a team and multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Positive, can-do attitude and an excellent work ethic. Creative problem-solver.
- Cape Town based essential. (Hybrid office/wfh position).
