ESPAfrika is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Marketing and to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving ticket sales, sponsorship deals, and expanding our audience reach through innovative marketing strategies. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building skills to promote our events to both corporate clients and the general public.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote ESPAfrika’s events.
- Drive ticket sales through both digital and offline channels.
- Build and manage relationships with sponsors, partners, and clients.
- Create and manage content for social media, email campaigns, and event websites.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities to reach new audiences.
- Manage and optimise marketing budgets to ensure cost-effective campaigns.
- Collaborate with the event planning and production teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Proven experience in marketing and marketing, ideally in the events or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A passion for events, music, and creating memorable experiences.
