Sales and admin assistant
Position: Sales and Admin Assistant
Areas: Western Cape
Reports to: Head of Business Partners
The company seeks to employ a professional and organised sales and administration assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will function as a support to the sales and admin teams in Watkins and play a crucial role in the compilation of reports to provide relevant and strategic information to the business. The sales and admin assistant will be tasked to compile various reports and handle numerous administrative tasks.
Reporting:
• Compiling of daily, monthly and annual sales reports and other performance reports
• Tracking of sales progress (daily, monthly, annually)
• Communication of sales progress
• Administration, calculation and reporting of monthly, 6-monhtly and annual incentives and rewards
• Liaison with Syspro report writers re trouble shooting and IT assistance with reference to business partner manager reporting issues
• Quarterly level assessments of business partners, reports and communication
• Assistance with sales budgets and targets per business partner manager
• Assistance to business partner managers in the compiling and processing of reports out of Syspro
Administrative duties:
• Business partner manager and business partner communication (E-mail; SMS; WhatsApp; Social Media platforms)
• Sales incentive, business and product knowledge training
• Maintain high level of product knowledge
• Assist in preparing for meetings and office functions - (including copy of newsletters and wrapping of gifts or prizes)
• Assistance at monthly business partner meetings / marketing events
• Compilation of starter and recruiting packs
• Filing and administration
• Typing of documents and letters
• Checking price lists and official marketing stationery
• Record keeping of relevant documentation and general office administration
• Assist during annual stock takes
• Switchboard relief
• Any other duty as instructed by management
Computer skills:
Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft 365, and especially Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Syspro accounting software knowledge and skilled in utilizing AI tools will be an advantage
Communication skills:
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
• Assertive
Experience
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in compiling reports digitally and administration of sales
• Language: Excellent verbal and writing skills (English and Afrikaans)
• Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft 365, and especially Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Syspro accounting software knowledge and skilled in utilizing AI tools will be an advantage
Relevant qualification:
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Certificate / Diploma will be advantage.
