Devops Engineer

A leading technology solutions provider focused on bespoke solutions for financial services is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Cape Town. They pride themselves on a people-first culture, technical excellence, and long-term partnerships with clients.

This role is for someone passionate about streamlining software delivery, automating infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability. You will work closely with software engineers and architects to support continuous delivery and operational excellence

What you need to have experience in:

• Hands-on DevOps Engineering experience
• PowerShell scripting
• Creating and optimising docker images
• Source control using Git
• Build and deployment scripting (preferably .NET 8+ and Node.js)
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Networks and Internet (TCP/IP, DNS, http, routing, firewalls, etc.)
• At least one of the major cloud providers (preferably Azure)
• Terraform in the provisioning of complex cloud infrastructure
• Kubernetes resources and developing YAML resource files

• Champion DevSecOps by integrating security throughout the development lifecycle
• Continuously explore new DevOps tools and trends to drive ongoing improvement
