Data Capturer

A position has become available within the Projects Department, at the company’s Cape Town branch (Northgate Estate, 10 Gold St, Brooklyn, Cape Town).

We seek to employ someone as soon as possible. The fixed-term employment contract term will end on 19 December 2025.

The advert will be open from 18 July 2025 to 25 July 2025. 

 Duties include but are not limited to:

•  Accurate input of data from various sources into databases, spreadsheets, and ERP systems
• Check for accuracy and completeness of data entries, correcting any discrepancies as needed.
• Regularly update and maintain data to ensure it remains current and correct, including conducting routine data cleaning and audits.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure data integrity and confidentiality, safeguarding sensitive information.
• Communicate with team members and other departments to gather necessary data and resolve any data-related issues.
• Generate reports based on the data for use by management and other stakeholders, presenting findings in an accessible manner.

Requirements
• A Grade 12 certificate
• An advantage would be to possess a tertiary qualification in office administration or an equivalent
• Advanced typing skills are non-negotiable
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and database software
• Attention to Detail and skilled at prioritizing tasks
• Efficient time management and deadline driven
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• High integrity and sensitive to confidentiality
• Own Transport and residing within the Century City, Maitland, Pinelands, Epping, Parrow, Rondebosch, Observatory or Woodstock areas would be advantageous.
