Digital Printing Machine Operator

Well-established digital printing company, Clarion Printed Products in Epping, Cape Town, invites applications for an experienced skilled digital print operator to confidently operate large and medium-sized UV, solvent and dye sublimation digital printing machines. Must be able to demonstrate own initiative in decision-making and problem-solving capabilities. Must have good communication skills and must be computer literate. Must be willing to work over weekends when necessary. Must be based in Cape Town's surrounding areas.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Set various machines to the correct operating specifications
• Perform colour management and profile setting on various substrates
• Ensure the correct materials, inks and product specifications are being used
• Perform general machine maintenance
• Monitor product quality and productivity expectations
• Assist with the routing of products to the various operations

Requirements:

• At least 2-5 years of digital printing experience
• Computer literacy essential
• Perform well under pressure
• Detail orientated
• Team player with good communication skills
• Experience on the following machines will be to your advantage - Genx, Flatbed Handtops, Roll To Roll Handtops and Gunsjet Fabric Machine
