      Finance Administrator

      Remuneration:R18000 per month

      Cape Town based NPO Ladles of Love is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic finance administrator to become part of their finance team.   The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a positive, can-do attitude and the capability to manage high-volume tasks with precision.   

      This role suits a highly organised, meticulous individual who loves all things admin and is passionate about making a difference through the work that Ladles of Love does.

      Skills required:
      • Strong numerical and analytical skills;
      • Knowledge of Excel - advanced level;
      • Very strong administrative skills;
      • Bookkeeping experience;
      • Proficient in QuickBooks;
      • Reconciliation skills;
      • Experience of working with CRM programmes;
      • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines effectively;
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
      • Problem-solving skills with a solution-driven mindset;
      • Knowledge of Salesforce (an advantage).
      Key responsibilities:
      • Manage reconciliation of Payfast and Snapscan; 
      • Prepare monthly recurring donation reports;
      • Manage weekly dashboards; 
      • Reconciliation of petty cash; 
      • Daily inputting of invoices;.
      • Preparation of weekly picking slips;
      • Ensure correct allocation of food (weekly) and procurement quantities;
      • Check salesforce stock figures with QuickBooks stock figures; 
      • Prepare bank deposits for the company’s checking account;
      • Process accounts payable – invoices and payments;
      • Prepare bank deposits for the company’s checking account;
      • Bookkeeping tasks such as posting transactions and maintaining records;
      • Manage weekly stock take;
      • Maintaining computerised accounting records including accounts receivable and payable;
      • Reviewing and approving purchase orders before they are processed;
      • Assisting the accountant with other tasks such as maintaining accounting records, preparing VAT returns, and preparing financial statements.
