    Job description

    Are you a driven individual who’s curious and dedicated to make a positive impact through innovation and creativity?

    We look forward to receiving applications from super-talented and seasoned strategists to join our agency. You will be in charge of developing and delivering bespoke approaches for brand experiences driven by data and insights, across different marketing channels and a range of clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Understand the client’s audiences, objectives, priorities and business problems and lead the definition of solutions to meet these needs
    • Conduct in-depth research and provide relevant target market insights across various consumer categories
    • Translate briefs and strategic requirements into compelling creative solutions
    • Develop communication messages for brands, and an ability to plan how these messages come to life in campaigns
    • Develop the strategic direction and write briefs to assist the creative teams to unlock ideas
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
    • Great understanding of both quantitative & qualitative data
    • Pitch ideas confidently and present creative concepts internally and externally
    • Manage the integrity of an approved strategy through to final deliverables
    • Work to align and integrate various channels, including web, email, social, out-of-home, print, television etc.

    Lead the strategy team:
    • Develop relationships (internal and external service providers) to ensure a collaborative approach that provides the client with a seamless service
    • Identify strong creative ideas and support them through strategic argument
    • Upskill the team in the area of innovative ideas, strategy, and processes
    • Provide mentorship and inspire the creative/strategy team

    New business

    Proactively seek opportunities to contribute to our existing client’s business and marketing strategy

    Other

    • Lead reporting efforts on the performance of all campaigns
    • Keep abreast of current trends and industry best practice


    Requirements

    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Great presentation skills
    • Relevant qualification and a min of 6+ years of experience
    • Sound understanding of marketing disciplines and knowledge of brand positioning
    • Proven track record of developing successful strategic plans
    • Able to think laterally and analytically
    • Able to prioritise, meet tight deadlines and get the work done to the highest quality
    • Good knowledge of the media landscape – traditional: TTL, ATL, BTL, and digital.
    • Agency experience
    • Multilingualism is always a huge plus
    • Pan-African experience an advantage
    • PC literate: Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel – with experience working with Chase software.
