Sunday World editor, Abdul Milazi, has been nominated for the Poet of the Year 2005 Award
The US-based International Society of Poets nominated Milazi for the Poet of the Year 2005 Award based on his body of work published internationally. He is already the recipient of the 2002 Editors' Choice Award from the International Library of Poetry in Michigan, US. He has recently been included, along with a distinguished group of just 200 of the best contemporary poets from around the world, in a special international anthology published in the US in April this year, titled "The Best Poems and Poets of 2004".
