New African destinations for Ethiopian Airlines
Ethiopian Airlines (ET) has announced the commencement of new services to Mombasa, Conakry and Monrovia as of 25 October 2009. Gavin Simpson CEO of Holiday Aviation, the local GSA for ET said, “This will bring the number of African destinations served by the airline to a total of 37, placing them ahead of their competitors with the most expansive route network in Africa. Addis Ababa with its modern airport is becoming a major hub for passengers travelling on the daily ET service from JNB via Ethiopia to a total of 54 international destinations across Africa, Europe, the Far East, the Middle East and the USA.”
