
Kenya to sell 15% Safaricom stake to Vodacom in $1.6bn deal

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has ordered e.tv to withdraw a newspaper advert which labelled the SABC as the "State broadcaster". The ad was deemed to be disparaging as it inferred that the SABC's news content was not objective and influenced by the government, whereas the SABC's programming content is determined solely by its executive.
