One team, 42 million supporters, says Standard Bank. I saw the ad a few times before it dawned. It's so easy not to question ads.
Well, ACNielsen's survey for the Sunday Times shows that 60% of metropolitan adults are not remotely interested in the Cricket World Cup!
So at an absolute push that should be 17 million supporters, assuming you can extrapolate those stats to the rural population, which of course you can't.
