VWV launches Airtel brand across Africa
Experiential communications agency, the VWV Group, was recently appointed to produce the launch of a new mobile telecommunications network into Africa. Bharti Airtel commissioned VWV to launch the brand into 16 African countries, through events that ran simultaneously.
The Airtel launches were conceptualised, produced and managed by VWV. The launch consisted of an interactive production, which saw a marriage between pre-recorded video and live theatrical presentations. These events were staged in Burkina Faso, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Madagascar, Niger, Nigeria, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
