Journalists, directors, editors and other members of Canal + International’s production teams will travel to the African continent for practical sessions. The professional trainers all work on Canal+ biggest programs in Africa, such as Bonjour Santé, Réussite or Talents d’Afrique.

The main objective of Canal+ University is to train African journalists, producers and directors who can offer programs, in different formats, that are aired out of the continent.

The 35 participants of these first two sessions of Canal+ University will each receive a certificate certifying their rise in skills.

“We are engaged with local film and audiovisual actors in Africa. Canal+ International is a partner of African talent, and we are doing everything we can to offer them as many opportunities as possible,” says Grace Loubassou, head of Institutional Africa Relations at Canal+ International, who is leading the project.
