Showing SA how to live it up

Aimed at South Africa’s growing affluent market, the new alternate monthly Millionaire Lifestyle - to be co-published by Millionaire Lifestyle Magazine and American William Rankin - will focus on featuring the intriguing international luxurious lifestyles of the global elite.

Comments Rankin, principal owner and CEO, "With a current void in the market place, the South African affluent will benefit from our contemporary elegant publication that exclusively caters to their intellect, desires and whims based on their financial and time resource capabilities, whilst simultaneously offering international and local luxury brand owners and luxury service providers with a unique media channel directed exclusively to this growing wealthy target market base; a true symbiotic association between publisher, reader, and advertiser."

Rankin is the former president of international operations for Millionaire Media Group International, a UK registered company operating in Dubai, UAE, and parent company of the former SA Millionaire magazine, which saw its last issue in March/April 2006. Rankin has an intimate knowledge of the SA High Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) marketplace, and along with his local partners, expects to have a significant impact on that niche in South Africa.

Millionaire Lifestyle will be alternate monthly and have a fixed "exclusive" distribution channel reaching the wealthy and high-profile South Africans and international visitors throughout southern Africa. The launch issue, scheduled for May 2006, will reach approximately 50 000 or more HNWIs.

According to the Merrill Lynch 2005 World Wealth Report, there is a sharp increase in global wealth and those who possess it with South Africa having the second fastest percentage growth of US$ millionaires in the world, currently nearing some 40 000 in the country.

As a niche lifestyle publication for the wealthy, Millionaire Lifestyle content will focus on the lavish: exclusive five-star international and local travel destinations, newest and best luxury hotels, resorts and spas, jewellery, timepieces, fashion, luxury automobiles, yachts, and private jets.

There will also be exclusive articles on millionaire investment advice and related investment opportunities, a local and international affluent property section, and other opulent lifestyle-oriented features.

The publication will also highlight the most exclusive upcoming and recent high-profile social events in SA, interior design options, finest wines, all new health and wellness section, antiques and art.
