Technical Skills:
- Salesforce financial services cloud
- Java development experience
- Apex, lightning web components (LWC) and salesforce flow
- REST/SOAP APIs, platform events and change data capture
- Salesforce DX, CLI and source-driven development and deployment pipelines
- 6+ years of software development experience, with meaningful salesforce platform exposure
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
- Experience designing and delivering complex salesforce solutions end-to-end
- Ability to lead salesforce architecture, make technical decisions and explain them to engineers, architects and business stakeholders
- Experience in regulated or financial services environments is advantageous
- Passion for mentoring developers and driving engineering standards and best practices
- Lead architectural decisions and enhance the salesforce insurance platform
- Develop policy lifecycle management, claims processing and client relationship management capabilities
- Integrate policy administration, claims intake, adjudication and payment processing systems
- Build and maintain complex Apex logic, LWC and salesforce flows
- Ensure platform scalability and reliability as the business grows
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers
- Evaluate and introduce Salesforce capabilities to advance the platform
