Business Solutions Architect

In this role, you will work across business and technology teams to understand strategic objectives, analyse complex requirements, and design solutions that are practical, secure, and aligned with organisational goals. You will play a key role in connecting business strategy with technology, ensuring that solutions deliver meaningful value while supporting long-term growth.

What we’re looking for

• A relevant degree or qualification in information technology, computer science, business analysis, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in solution architecture, business analysis, systems analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise technology environments.
• Experience designing solutions within complex, integrated environments.
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, cloud technologies, application integration, and modern software development practices.
• Understanding of information security, governance, risk, and regulatory considerations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Key responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, challenges, and requirements.
• Translate business needs into effective, scalable, and sustainable solution designs.
• Develop end-to-end solution architectures that align with business and technology strategies.
• Analyse existing processes, systems, and capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with developers, technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Evaluate solution options and provide recommendations based on business value, feasibility, cost, risk, and sustainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code

Reference number for this position is GZ61489 which is a permanent position based in Park Town offering a salary of R1.5m per annum, negotiable based on experience and ability.
