MTV base turns 1
To celebrate its first birthday next week, pan-African music channel MTV base has declared Wednesday 22 February 2006 as the official 'MTV base DAY'. To mark 365 music-filled days since MTV base's African debut, the network has filled its schedule with a special day of programming that encapsulates everything that's good about Africa's MTV channel.
