Manu Padayachee to join Al-Jazeera

Veteran television newsman Manu Padayachee will be joining Arabic satelite station Al-Jazeera as a senior editor. Padayachee, Al-Jazeera's first African employee, is one of a number of international reporters secured by the station for their 24-hour English channel to be launched next year.
