Investigative journalism award for Sunday Times
Sunday Times investigative reporters, Mzilikazi wa Afrika and Jessica Bezuidenhout, have scooped the 2003 John Manyarara Award for Investigative Journalism, presented annually by the Misa in conjunction with the Netherlands Institute for Southern Africa, for their probing report on the R335-million Komatiland forest deal. €2 000 (about R16 800) prize and a study grant of €10 000 (about R84 000).
