SA documentary wins bronze at film awards
‘Saving Soweto,' a South African documentary series by film-makers Lisa Henry and Shareen Anderson received a Bronze medal at the New York Festivals International Television and Film Awards held in New York on 3 May 2010. They are currently in production on a one-hour documentary on crime in South Africa. The winning series is currently being broadcast in South Africa on the Al Jazeera English channel on DSTV.
