SABC to broadcast RWC host country announcement
The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) will broadcast the World Rugby Council's announcement of the host country for the 2023 World Cup Rugby. SABC Sport will broadcast the announcement live on SABC 2, news channel 404, and several SABC radio stations from 2.30pm until 4pm.
RSG and Radio 2000 will also broadcast live crossings from the public viewing area at Sammy Marks Square in Tshwane from 12pm. The Rugby World Cup board recommended South Africa as the preferred hosts for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
