Choppies looks to KZN

JSE-listed Botswana-based grocery chain Choppies (CHP) applied to the Competition Commission on Monday for authorisation to acquire 21 retail stores in KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape from Jwayelani.

No value was given. Choppies said further details would be provided in due course.
