FDA authorises sale of IQOS in US
IQOS has become the first electrically heated tobacco product to qualify for sale in the US after being approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
FDA's decision follows its comprehensive assessment of PMI's premarket tobacco product applications (PMTAs) filed with the agency in 2017.
IQOS has been available in South Africa since 2017.
