How can a company that claims to support SA design ignore credible firms at home and appoint a UK design company (PearlFisher) to revamp its packaging and identity?
Isn't this the familiar old story? Company mouths off big time about the quality of SA design and fashion, going so far as to use many of its roleplayers in its actual advertising campaigns, while quietly handing over a multimillion buck job to a UK agency? When it comes to putting its money where its mouth is, Woolworths fails miserably. Hope someone has the balls to bring this up at the annual gathering of holy cows, the Design Indaba, that Woolworths sponsors.
