Under the theme 'Reaching the Next Frontier for Growth', the conference featured several sessions where a range of key speakers, representing the spectrum of Africa's ICT sector, presented. There were several sub-themes serving as hot topics at this year's event, with a particular focus on data analytics, mobility, innovation and connectivity to the development of commerce on the continent. Hundreds of media professionals, academics and activists have gathered to take part in the discussions around the theme "Africa Rising? How the media frame the continent's geopolitics, trade and economic growth".
