Africans are taking to Twitter to show the world #TheAfricaTheMediaNeverShowsYou, a hashtag that's trending and bringing the continent together to celebrate the beauty of Africa.

The campaign, started by a 17-year-old Ghanaian named Rachel, has reached 64,000 tweets so far and has spread to Instagram as well. The tweets vary from subjects like innovation and culture to fashion, nature, geological wonders and more.
