Wananchi plans more pay-TV content for Africa
In a bid to expand the growth of pay television in Kenya, Wananchi Group, through its subsidiary, Mitsuminet, is enriching its programming and upgrading its infrastructure to reach out to Africa and European customers.
In the last two months, the group has been negotiating and signing agreements with the content providers, said Wananchi chief executive, Euan Fannell. It is adding content from channels like SABC, CNBC Africa and GTV.
