iROKOtv, described as the 'Netflix of Africa' and reportedly the continent's first legal online source of Nollywood films, has launched its subscription service.
Back in May 2012, iROKO Partners announced that iROKOtv would be introducing their subscription service, where viewers will retain free access to the current catalogue of Nollywood films, but will also be able to watch brand new, exclusive Nollywood releases, uploaded weekly.
iROKOtv subscribers can access to Nollywood movies for $5 a month. They will be able pay via text or credit card using Paypal and can opt out at any time. For those who choose not to subscribe, films will still be available on iROKOtv for free when they register.
