APO partners with PR Newswire

LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND: The African Press Organisation (APO), an African-related news online community which owns a media database of 25 000 contacts, announced a strategic partnership with news distributor PR Newswire on Monday, 26 October 2009.

“The strategic partnership between the African Press Organisation and PR Newswire is a great step towards spreading African stories in the world,” said Nicolas Pompigne-Mognard, the APO secretary general. Its NGO distributes 12,000 press releases every year, some of which on behalf of African institutions.

The APO offers online visibility and targeted news distribution to its database. It now also offers international broadcast to global media due to its alliance with PR Newswire.
