The website, called the Clearinghouse on Education about Religions and Beliefs (ERB), features news, guidelines, learning and teaching materials, links to organisations, and lists of events relevant to learning about diverse religions and beliefs.
It also includes an online forum which allows educators and policy-makers to exchange views and resources, learn from each others' work and advance ideas about successful programmes that teach about religions and beliefs.
According to Dr. Thomas Uthup, the Alliance's research manager, 12 universities from countries such as Russia, South Africa, Denmark, Japan, and India contribute to the website.
