Africa.com reports that a film screening and filmmaker dialogue series focusing on maternal health will be held by the African Women's Development Fund USA (AWDF USA) to build momentum for its Mother Africa Campaign.

Africa.com: Saving the lives of African women through film... The first screening of 'Mother of George' will take place in New York City on Sunday, 15 September 2013 at 3pm. According to the report, the film "accelerates AWDF USA's American movement for African maternal health..."
'Mother of George' screenwriter/producer, Darci Picoult, says: "Our collaboration with AWDF USA will build mutual understanding across diverse communities while raising practical support to address the challenges affecting mothers and their families throughout Africa and America."
