Call for 2009 Highway Africa scholarship applications

Highway Africa has a limited number of scholarships available for practising African journalists who focus on ICT reporting. The event will take place 6 - 8 September 2009 at Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa. The deadline for application submissions is today, Wednesday, 15 July 2009.

Submission requirements:

Curriculum vitae with two contactable referees
A 300 word statement on why you are interested in attending Highway Africa and what will be done with the skills and information acquired
A letter of support from your editor or publisher

The submission deadline is 15 July 2009. All documents must be sent through simultaneously. Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete registration and indemnity forms supplied by Highway Africa. The decision of Highway Africa on the selection of candidates is final.
