Jacqueline Boitumelo Manche has been appointed as the new chief executive of the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa, effective from 1 July.
Manche, who holds an honours degree in economics from Wits and a master's degree in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is currently deputy director-general: system and capacity building in the Department of Provincial and Local Government. She has also worked at the Development Bank, the Financial and Fiscal Commission and First National Bank.
