Jan Weintrob promoted to news editor at P4 Cape Town

Jan Weintrob has been appointed news editor of P4 104.9fm, the Heart and Soul of Cape Town.

With a strong background in radio journalism, Weintrob first joined the station in 2002 as a weekend news anchor.

Her professionalism and skills soon saw her promoted to the weekday news desk, where she has anchored the morning drive news since April 2003. She now takes over the editorship in a well-deserved promotion, assuming responsibility for the station's news, sport, traffic and beach reports.

Former news editor Philippa Hudson remains with P4 as Assistant Station Manager.
