Cell C cuts weekend subscriber rates

In order to keep Cell C top-of-mind before the introduction of Mobile Number Portability (MNP) on 10 November 2006, the service provider announced last week that it has slashed its weekend prices by over 50% on all Cell C to Cell C calls. Postpaid and controlchat subscribers automatically qualify for this rate, dubbed 'Woza Weekend', which kicks in on Fridays at midnight and continues until midnight on Sundays.
