BBC anniversary show on Table Mountain

The BBC World Service has chosen Cape Town to celebrate its 70th anniversary with a 14-hour live broadcast from the top of Table Mountain. The radio station chose the location because in 1933, a year after it was launched, the first re-broadcast was sent back to London from the mountain.
