SABC appoints San journalists
SABC Radio News in Kimberley appointed the first San journalists in the world on Tuesday. Tumba Alfrino (!Xu) and Tressel Katembo (Khwe) have been trained as Radio News journalists and current affairs producers, and will compile daily news bulletins and produce a lunch-hour current affairs programme on XKFM, a community radio station for the !Xu and Khwe San communities.
