ICC confirms charges against Kenyan journo
Charges against a Kenyan journalist, Joshua Arap Sang, have been confirmed by the International Criminal Courts (ICC) in the Hague, Netherlands. Sang who made history as the first Kenyan journalist to face charges at the ICC is among five other Kenyan politicians and senior government officials said to bear "the greatest responsibility" for the political violence that followed a disputed presidential result in January 2008. The journalist will proceed to full trial for various charges regarding crimes committed before and after the 2007 Kenyan election.
