In touch with American Idols

Mobile content and entertainment provider iTouch has signed a sponsorship deal in association with the new series of American Idols. iTouch will use the show to market its 35050 brand for ringtones, images, chat and info-text services. Says Thomas van der Linde, chief marketing officer at iTouch, "The show perfectly targets an audience that enjoys music and entertainment that is personal and involving, and reinforces the positioning of 35050 as a fun, interactive brand that supports young aspiring musicians and their fans."
